Nazareth was a town located in the mountains. The white and square houses decorated with lattice and made from stone were typical of this town. The vegetation of Nazareth was composed of strawberries, olive trees, apple trees, fig trees, date palm trees…
Bethlehem whose full name was Bethlehem Enfrat (house of fertile bread)was important because of its proximity to Jerusalem. Its population was above 300 inhabitants and its houses were built with white Jerusalemite stone.
Egyptwith its great port of Cairo in the mouth of the Nile was rich in products exported to the port of Ostia – eroded landscape in contrast with the green and fertile course of the Nile.
It has been our intention to emphasize the details in all three areas: Nazareth, Bethlehem and Egypt. Details such as the Mezuzah, small chapel placed in the facades of houses containing a scroll of Shema, a part of the 5th book of Torah, called Deuteronomy. When the Jewish entered or exited their houses, they kissed the Mezuzah, its forehead and its heart because the word of Torah should be in the forehead, mouth and heart. The sundial at the entrance of Bethlehem was decorated with Hebraic drawings - the upper part with a star of King David and the letter “Kaf”, 11th letter of Hebraic alphabet…
One of the streets of Nazareth, the silos of a nice Egyptian house, children collecting figs, the Joseph’s Carpentry, Mary’s fountain, the synagogue, the edict, the gate of Bethlehem, the temple of Jerusalem, the square of Bethlehem, mill game, the birth of Jesus, the pyramids of Gizeh... Everything is carefully set to create the most realistic atmosphere.
